Some more good news came my way…I was asked to blog for Horror Haute and The Witching Hour! I am very excited to cover these events and simply couldn’t wait until tomorrow to post some of the wonderful goodies from Horror Haute! The event is almost over, so I suggest getting over there as soon as possible. The theme for this round is Dark Fae and Elven Folks which ties in perfectly to the fae avatars I have been wearing recently.

My inspiration for this post comes from the song “Are You Scared?” by Santa Hates You. I was given a landmark to this ooky spooky house and the song immediately popped into my head when I entered. The outfit came together very quickly in the eerie atmosphere…I absolutely love all the delicious goodies you can get from Horror Haute!

The skirt and top ensemble I am wearing is the Horror Haute offering from one of my favourite stores, The Little Bat. It’s richly textured and teasingly low cut, adding a dash of sexiness to the spooky! My delightful butterfly sandals by Tasty Pudding are also available at Horror Haute. The Flutterby Flats come with multiple HUDs to texture every part of them individually! The sheer number of colours and combinations is pretty mind boggling. The mesh is beautiful…I really love these sandals! The pendant I have on is the Fantasy Faire special offering from Plastik and has tons of texture and gem options. It’s evocative of Arwen’s necklace from Lord of the Rings, but it’s not exactly the same. If you’re looking for a beautiful piece of jewelry for a great cause, swing by Plastik’s booth at Fantasy Faire and pick up a copy!

I’m wearing another fae from Stargazer Creations…this time, a bit more seelie! The Purple Passion Fairy comes with appliers for all Slink parts and Omega, antennae, wings, nail polish, and hair with six different textures. The skin is gorgeous, like all of Stargazer Creations’ offerings…the shading is beautiful. This avatar set is only available at Fantasy Faire, so you may want to fly by Stargazer Creations’ booth and pick one up before it flutters off into the sunset. My eyes are another Horror Haute item. They’re the Dark Fae Eyes from SongBird and are mesh with HUD driven colour change. I love how unique they are, and paired with a subtle eye glow I picked up somewhere along the way, are totally stunning. The hair I am wearing is from Collabor88 a long, long time ago. It’s Zelda by Lamb, and currently available in the mainstore.I love the windswept style and the head ornament…I am a huge fan of circlets and the like, so it fits perfectly! I love the seelie-yet-dark look of the avatar and clothing combined. It’s a nice dichotomy, and I’m so pleased with how everything came together.
